GOALS
AND LOGS
Success never occurs in a vacuum. It is
always tied to goals. To improve their performance, I get all my
clients to set specific goals and write them down and post them for
all to see.
Goals have to be specific, measurable,
realistic, and time limited. “To lose weight” is hopelessly vague. To
lose 10 lbs of fat by my birthday, is the sort of goal you need.
Lean for life is a very long-term goal, so
sub-goals are essential to tell you how are you doing. As your trainer
I will help you to set the right
type of goal and I will motivate you to accomplish it.
Goals have to be public. Secret goals don’t work. You have to
be shamed and blamed for failure, and praised and rewarded for
success. So make your goals public, and tie them to strongly desired
rewards that are given only for success.
Goal Setting
One of the hardest parts of healthy living is adherence.
It is essential
for you to create short and long-term goals.
Body-fat percentage is an excellent way
to monitor progress.
Use
they daily health log to record your
progress. |
