MASSAGE
Why Massage?
The
manipulation of tissue to relax clumps of knotted muscle fiber,
increase circulation, and release patterns of chronic tension works by
restoring mobility, improving circulation, decreasing blood pressure,
and relieving stress. It addresses musculosketletal pain, especially
lower-back and neck pain; pain from muscle underuse or overuse; and
pain from adhesions or scars.
According to Jame Waslaski and Chris Cunningham in “Massage Magazine
last year, The structural components in the human body include the
bones, connective tissue, cartilage, tendons, ligaments,
muscles, fat and the various components of the nervous system.
Structural integration helps the body shift back into proper
structural and functional alignment in two ways: It removes tensions
and restrictions in areas that have been held tight, and it balances
the myofascial relationships throughout the body. When restricted
fascia is released and repositioned, the body returns to its optimal
structural position.
At Czech Us Out, our mutual goal is to utilize various modalities to
assist our clients in returning their bodies to their optimal
structural position. Dale Nimmo is both
fully licensed and a nationally certified massage therapist, and are now
accepting appointments on site at Czech Us Out. Graduate of
Professional Massage Training Center, he is eager to provide
pain and stress relieving services to the community at large, though
CUO gym members receive discounts. We are happy to accept on-site
chair/table requests.
We also offer Swedish massage, neuromuscular and hot stone. Dale is
certified in Compassionate Touch for the frail and elderly, as well as
sports massage, both pre and post event. An avid biker himself, Dale
is familiar with common and potential injuries of that sport. He also
offers migraine and neck/cervical treatments as well as level 1
Thai-style massage.
Dale can be reached at
